WHERE Can I BUY simplisolve?
CBD for Dogs and Cats

  • Is CBD legal?
There is a lot of misinformation on the web about CBD, and its legality is not free from this misinformation either. Hemp and marijuana were prohibited in the US in 1939, but the passage of the Hemp Farming Act of 2018 allowed farming of industrial hemp, with specific limitations on THC content of less than 0.3%, to resume federally. Through this act, CBD derived from hemp has also been legalized federally. However, individual state governments still consider CBD illegal, regardless of whether it was derived from marijuana or industrial hemp. At the time of this writing, for residents of all states other than Idaho, Nebraska, and South Dakota, CBD is legal. For these three exceptional states, the legislature prohibits CBD, and while federally allowed, pet owners in Idaho, Nebraska, and South Dakota may be breaking local laws if possessing CBD and hemp products for their pets. Of course, even where it is legal, very few states have issued any guidance on use of CBD in pets, and unfortunately, very few state veterinary medical associations have taken stands in favor of hemp or CBD for pets.
  • What is CBD and how does it work?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of hundreds of molecules produced by plants in the Cannabis genus such as hemp. These molecules interact with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) present in humans and pets (and other animals), which is tied to nearly every other body system like the nervous system, immune system, circulatory system, digestive system, etc. The ECS is responsible for many aspects of normal, healthy functioning of these different body systems. CBD improves the function of the naturally produced endocannabinoids already circulating in our pets’ bodies, and also mimics other important naturally produced signaling molecules like serotonin. There have been clinical trials demonstrating some of benefits of CBD at a few veterinary colleges, including Cornell and University of Florida, where our founding veterinarians, Dr. Katie Green and Dr. Kyra Marsigliano, were trained.
  • What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?
Even though they are both part of the cannabis family, industrial hemp and marijuana are most definitely not the same. Their chemical makeup, appearance, and cultivation environment are very different! Hemp contains LOW THC (<0.3%). Thus, your pet will not get high from CBD Vet Products.
